Session 1-Virtual Design
Are you an Introduction to Engineering Design teacher interested in developing a knowledge and understanding of 3D solid modeling skills using Autodesk Inventor software to virtually design an automata box? If you have a limited prior understanding of either the curricular knowledge and skills or facilitation strategies required for the Introduction to Engineering Design Automata project, this workshop is for you.

Session 2-Automata Physical Prototyping-
Calling all Introduction to Engineering Design teachers who would like to build either the curricular knowledge and skills or facilitation strategies required for the Introduction to Engineering Design Automata project! This workshop experience will enable you to practice construction skills and use your virtual designs to build a physical prototype for an automata box.

Session 3-Function Based Cam Design Through Parametric Equations-
Introduction to Engineering Design teachers will increase their knowledge of function-based mathematical and solid modeling strategies allowing them to build relevancy and student understanding of data-driven design processes.
